September 1, 2002, Tokyo, Japan: Officials from Louis Vuitton partake in a Shinto ceremony to bless the opening of the world's largest Louis Vuitton store on Omotesando Avenue in Tokyo, Japan, Sunday morning. The French luxury brand inaugurated the 3,300-square meter  in the total floor space, including an exhibition room for its historic products and a hall for meetings on Sunday. Despite a decade long economic slump, luxury designers have seen double digit growth in Japan where consumers are eager to embrace brand name products.
