6/5/2005--Paris, France..Bertrand Delanoë (arms raised, tan suit) , Mayor of Paris opens the 'Fetons l'Amour des Jeux' ('Celebrate the love of the Games') event today on the Champs-Elysées which invited members of the public to participate in numerous Olympic sports on Paris's most famous street. Paris has put in an ambitious bid for the 2012 Olympics, competing with New York, Moscow, London and Madrid and considered a lead candidate city...The Champs-Elysées was transformed into a symbolic ?Champs  Olympiques? with 28 Olympic disciplines grouped around a gigantic 700 m athletics track running from the Arc de Triomphe to Avenue  George V.
