12/27/2012--Seattle, WA, USA..The Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) will open Dec. 29th, 2012 in the former Naval Reserve Training Center in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. Here the Rainier Brewing Company's old red "R" sign sits on top of displays lit up by cranking handles at the bottom...Exhibits include Boeing B-1 seaplane (Boeing's first plane), the Rainier Brewing Company's old red "R" sign and Slo-Mo-Shun IV Hydroplane. MOHAI has around 4 million objects in the collection, including around 100,000 artifacts, and 1.5 million photographs, and extensive archives.
