Behind is one of five automatically cleaning toilets that was installed in Seattle's Steinbrueck Park near the famous Pike Place Market. The five toilets cost taxpayers about $4.3 million but will soon be closed. The automated city toilet at the Steinbrueck Park is notorious for prostitution and drug activity..Steinbrueck Park has been part of Seattle's most crime-ridden census tract since 1985; on June 28th, 2008, 4 people were shot and injured in the park which sits next to Seattle's Pike Place Market, the city's most popular tourist attraction. .©2008 Stuart Isett.
