2/12/2007--Fairbanks, Alaska, USA..A group of Japanese tourists enjoy the Northern Lights from a hill near the Chena Hot Springs Resort about 60 miles east of Fairbanks, Alaska. ..The Fairbanks/Chena area is the epicenter of Japanese winter tourism in the state, because it affords the best viewing areas for the Northern Lights. At least 10 chartered 350-passenger Japanese Air Lines 747?s are due to arrive at Fairbanks International Airport this winter, carrying groups from Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
