8/14/2009--Puget Sound, Seattle, WA, USA..Jeff Choke (right), a member of the Nisqually Indian tribe in Washington State, and director of marketing for Nisqually Aquatic Technologies, Steve Sigo (center) and his son Andy Sigo (left) put an old net just removed from the Sound into a plastic bag...Jeff Choke, a member of the Nisqually Indian tribe in Washington State, and director of marketing for Nisqually Aquatic Technologies, a  diving company, has been hired using federal stimulus dollars to remove old nets in Puget Sound that destroy habitat and kill fish and other marine animals. The Nisqually indians are one of many tribes whose fishing has been affected by the big commercial fishing nets that came to deplete fish populations and damage the Sound....©2009 Stuart Isett.
