The Marco Polo Motel on Aurora Avenue in Seattle, WASH. Kurt Cobain, lead singer of Nirvana, frequently stayed in room 226 at the motel, where he used heroin. It was one of the last places he stayed before his death in April, 1994. Aurora Avenue is well known in Seattle for seedy motels, drugs and prostitution as it stretches north out of the city.<br />
