During a break in the rain, Seattleites and tourists gather around the International Fountain at the Seattle Center. Typically a place where children can play in the fountain, this location is where distraught fans of Nirvana gathered to mark the death of Kurt Cobain on April 10, 1994. Later, fans gathered to mourn the death of Alice in Chains’ singer Layne Staley on April 20, 2002. <br />
